Real math from someone who does this for a living.
I'm RC Strout, a practicing engineer. My day job is water chemistry and process modeling — speciation, corrosion and scale prediction, and the month-by-month cost simulations that keep industrial systems running. CalcDome exists because the calculators I kept finding online were mostly guesswork wrapped in ads.
Everything here follows three rules: the formula is always shown, the defaults come from documented real-world data rather than round numbers, and there are no popups, paywalls or email traps. The models are tested against validated references — the pool math ships with golden-value tests taken from a real 15,000-gallon conversion.
